Pouring yoghurt is full of friendly bacteria with a fresh, tangy flavour. Drink it for breakfast, pour it on cereal, fruit or puddings or glug a glassful for a gut-friendly snack!
Court Lodge is a working organic farm on the edge of the Pevensey Levels in Sussex, run by the Harding family. Their Soil Association certified yogurts are made in a small farm dairy using milk that comes straight from the cows into the dairy, so couldn’t be fresher! It is hand-poured, pasteurised but not standardised or homogenised, before making into a range of yogurt products using special blends of probiotic cultures, without any additives to thicken or emulsify.
Sustainability and encouragement of biodiversity are important elements of their farming system, as is the well being of the cows - a mixture of grass-fed British Friesians & Ayrshires. The cows have access to pasture for around 200 days a year and are truly free range. They graze and forage naturally on organic pasture and are never given hormones or routine antibiotics.
